Starting Situation
Miltenberg was chosen for the location of a process waste loading and unloading plant with adjacent recyc-
ling plant. In the waste loading and unloading plant, the refuse is pre-sorted, cut up and loaded for transpor-
tation to thermal processing. Recycling material and problem refuse from household and industry is accepted
at the recycling yard, sorted and put into interim storage.
